Penny Dreadful will have two screenings at Palm Springs ShortFest starting with the Opening Night program Laughing Matters Tuesday, June 18, 6:30 PM at Camelot Theatres. On Wednesday June 19, the film will screen in the Idiot’s Delight program 8:00 PM Camelot Theatres. Writer/Director Shane Atkinson and Producer Rob Cristiano will be in attendance. Producer Jessica Caldwell will also be on-hand in support of the feature.

We’re so humbled to announce that “Penny Dreadful” was voted by thousands of film lovers as their favorite film in the International Competition at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Rob and Shane were on hand to accept the Prix du Public (Audience Award). We’d like to thank the festival committee for inviting us to screen as well as the town of Clermont-Ferrand for its amazing hospitality. It’s a truly incredible experience to walk out of a theater with audience members quoting your film, and we won’t soon forget our time there!
The “Penny” team was excited to be invited to a private screening at HBO hosted by the NBR. Marnie Schulenburg, Oona Laurence, Rick Zahn, Richard Busser, Gary Betsworth and friends were on-hand for the screening. Producer Rob Cristiano joined the rest of the night’s filmmakers in the Q&A after the show.
We’re honored to announce that “Penny” was selected to play at the private NBR Student Grant Awardee Screening on Sept. 27th from 6:30pm-9pm. Producer Rob Cristiano and members of the cast will be in attendance.
“Penny” was well-received at the screening, which was in the beautiful DGA Theater on Sunset Blvd.
